THE Christmas light display at Derriton Road in Pyworthy was switched on at an official event on Saturday, December 2.

The lights were switched on by Brenda Martin. After the switch on entertainment was provided in the village hall by Clawton Primary School pupils and the Ashwater Steel Band. Soup and bread were served afterwards.

All donations received were donated to Clawton Primary School and the Ashwater Steel Band.
