TWO extremely talented musicians from Prague, the Czech Republic, will be visiting North Cornwall and performing here this weekend (February 28 and March 1).
Ota Lebr, 33, is a violinist who has studied and graduated at the Prague Conservatory and won several prizes for his performances. He has been as far as Japan to play the violin.
Lukas Klansky, 19, is a pianist who has given more than 400 concerts in different countries and has also won numerous awards; he is highly valued among his chamber music colleagues for his brilliant technique.
This year he will perform at the Rudolfinum, one of the biggest concert halls in Prague.
Both musicians come from families with strong musical traditions.
Ota and Lukas will be performing at the Minstrels Centre on Saturday at 7.30pm (followed by a light buffet) and at St. Endellion Church on Sunday at 7pm. The programme includes Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and Chopin.
Parts of the profit will be donated to the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
