LAUNCESTON and District Cats Protection hosted a Table top and mega clothing sale, on September 23 at Lifton Church Hall.

This took the form of many rails of good quality clothing and accessories, plus a number of tables, which were hired out at £6 per table.

Packs of Christmas cards were also on sale at reduced prices and light refreshments were available all day.

The event was very well supported and Cats Protection was delighted that the sum of £338.30 was raised.

This was a first-time event but it could become one of the branch’s regulars. A spokesperson for the branch said: “Many thanks to all who supported it and also those who gave up their time to make this a success.”
