A MONMOUTH cat owner had an emotional reunion with her pet after it was found close to the A40 at Pencraig near Ross.
Nicole Bond reported her beloved one-year-old tabby and white, Tilly, missing on the Cats Protection Facebook page when she noticed she hadn't come home.
Little did she know somebody had found the little mite and called Cats Protection lost and found officer Karen Williams to say there was a white cat with tabby markings found dangerously close to the A40 between Monmouth and Pencraig.
After a search, Karen found the cat had been reported missing from Monmouth on its Cats Protection Facebook page two weeks previously.
Joyce Moss at Cats Protection said: "We called Nicole when she got home from work, and she was delighted with the news.
"Her cat had been taken in by her finder and the reunion took place just before midnight on a Friday evening."
