THERE'S a chance to meet with local Cornwall councillors at Camelford's One Stop Shop on Thursday, August 20.

Cllrs Glenton Brown, John Lugg and Keith Goodenough will be holding their first surgery at the One Stop Shop from 10am to 12noon, with future surgeries taking place at the same time and venue every third Thursday of the month.

Cllr Goodenough, who represents the Camelford division, said: "We'd like to see anyone who wants to find out more about the new council and meet their local councillors or who has local issues to raise. No appointment is necessary, just drop in any time during the surgery."

Cllr Lugg, who represents the St Teath division, added: "It's a friendly informal session, and we can help with a range of council related services, from housing and planning to litter and street lights."

Cllr Brown, who represents the Tintagel division continued: "Camelford One Stop Shop also hosts sessions with the Citizens Advice Bureau and Cornwall Council's Out and About service on third Thursdays, so it's a good opportunity to call in and for all of the information and advice you need in a single visit."

Camelford's One Stop Shop is located in College Road. Every Friday there are sessions with Stonham Housing from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, and every third Thursday there are councillor surgeries and visits from the Out and About service and the Citizens Advice Bureau.
