WITH spring on its way, the Launceston branch of the NSPCC is organising a charity event to highlight that every childhood is worth fighting for.
A ‘Spring Supper’ will be held at St Stephen’s Church Hall, Launceston, on Saturday, March 12.
The event starts at 7pm and will offer those who attend a main course meal, with vegetarian options available on request when booking, and a dessert course. The supper will be followed by tea and coffee and wine and soft drinks are also available.
There will be a guest speaker and a raffle and all the money raised on the night will go to the NSPCC.
The NSPCC is the leading children’s charity that is fighting to end child abuse in the UK.
It helps children who have been affected by abuse rebuild their lives, protects those who are at risk and finds new and better ways of preventing abuse from happening.
Tickets to the ‘Spring Supper’ are £12.50 each — take a partner and get a discount with tickets for £24 per couple. For tickets or more information about the event contact Anita on 01566 773479 or Martin on 01566 774793. For more information on the work the NSPCC does visit www.nspcc.org.uk
