As part of the national John Lewis & Waitrose ‘Give A Little Love’ campaign, Holsworthy’s branch have partnered with family support charity, Home-Start Torridge & North Devon.

Families need support for many reasons: perhaps they are struggling to cope with postnatal illness, a child’s disability or family breakdown. Maybe they face multiple problems at once, or feel isolated and unable to connect with their local community. Whatever the reason, Home-Start Torridge & North Devon provides free, non-judgemental practical and emotional family support - and helps build the family’s confidence and ability to cope.

As part of the national ‘Give A Little Love’ campaign, the group were thrilled to receive tremendous support from their local Waitrose Holsworthy.

Charity Manager Rachel North received a cheque for £1,000. She said: “It helped towards our work supporting local families across Torridge and North Devon over the Christmas period. We were overwhelmed with wonderful gifts and products for our beneficiaries, so a big thank you to all the staff and customers at Waitrose Holsworthy!”
