THE Cornish All Blacks again gave an impressive performance but gained no reward. The East Anglian club acknowledged that their Cornish visitors had put on a remarkable display of defensive rugby.

Cambridge had a very big pack, good ball retention and are a side which does not believe in kicking the ball away. As a result the All Blacks had to stem wave after wave of running attack which they did.
