THE Launceston Spring Medal & Ivor Tennant competition lived up to its title and was played in glorious Spring weather. Conditions were just about perfect with little wind, blue skies, sunshine and a course in excellent condition.
The overall winner of the Spring Medal was Alan Middleton with a nett score of 67. Winner of the Ivor Tennant Competition ( for left handers) was P Holland with a nett 69.

Division Two: 1st, A Middleton 67; 2nd, D Sloman 68; 3rd, P Holland 69.
Division Three: 1st, J Baker 70; 2nd, D Reynolds 74; 3rd, M Broome 76
On Saturday 14th a 'Red Nose Day' charity event was held with teams of three competing in a stableford competition with two scores to count. All entry fees were donated to the Red Nose Appeal.
