A WALK through golden fields of sunflowers has proved a good fundraising activity for the Lewannick Amateur Dramatics Society (LADS).

The first walk was held on Saturday, September 4, in the sunflower fields at Higher Larrick, Launceston, by kind permission of Adrian Parson.

The following weekend, September 11, a second walk was held, this time with an honesty box available.

Both walks were thoroughly enjoyed by those who took part and an impressive £350 was raised over the two weekends for the society’s next pantomime production.
