THE sun shone, the bands played and the crowds turned out to see St Breward on fete for Carnival Day.

Entries for all classes were up on 2010. There were some superb floats, among them 'The Old Woman who lived in a Shoe', 'The Delphi Pirates' and 'Alice in Wonderland'.
