KILKHAMPTON Village Fete proved it was a fun event for everyone on Saturday.
Held at Lamb Park, the fete welcomed the arrival of its royalty, who entered not in a horse drawn carriage, but a tractor drawn carriage.
The official crowning and opening of the fete was carried out by Jennie Gifford (neé Carey) who was a previous queen and attendant in 1988.
The queen this year was Natalie Jollow, with her attendants Sasha Marshall and Holly Richardson.
The coachman was Samuel Nancekivell and the footmen were Rupert Nancekivell and Owen Richards.
The flower presenter was Lily Grace Gliddon and cushion bearer was Ruby Colwill.
The fete included a number of entertaining events for children and adults alike, including craft stalls, music, entertainment, a children’s fun fair and village stalls.
Refreshments were served including cream teas and a barbecue.
