THE sun shone for this year’s Camelford Easter Eggstravaganza, held in Enfield Park and hosted by the events committee of the town council.

There were many entrants for the Easter bonnet and the decorated egg competition. These were from local children, but also included entries from three who were holidaying in the town.

After submitting their entries, they all took part in an Easter egg hunt around the park. This involved looking for 20 laminated eggs with Easter related words written on them. On their return, they were able to have a dip in the chocolate goodie bag.

The children will all be presented with certificates in the next couple of weeks.

The judge was Jane Moore, an honorary citizen of Camelford. She had a tremendously hard job to choose, but finally made her decision.
