May I on behalf of all those senior citizens who enjoyed a sumptuous strawberry tea at Holsworthy Memorial Hall last Saturday, thank Pam Johns and the members of the Holsworthy Rotary Club who helped to make the afternoon so enjoyable.

Over 100 people sat down to tea and were entertained by David Vaughan on clarinet and John Westaway on guitar. Many feet were tapping to their music and, given the opportunity, I am sure would have taken to the floor to dance the afternoon away.

A wonderful pre-cursor to the Wimbledon strawberries but served, of course, with real clotted cream!
