FIREFIGHTERS from Bude Community Fire Station were called to tackle a bin on fire near Summerleaze Beach shortly after 8pm on Monday, June 6.

On arrival the crew found a disposable barbecue had been left in the bin but had not been correctly extinguished before being thrown away.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service asks if you are using a disposable barbecue, to please make sure that it properly extinguished before it is put into any bin.
