Art Out West had a successful launch last Friday at Castlemartin Community Cafe with over 100 people turning up to view the exhibition of participating artists work, listen to live music from Shanty Le Hara and sample food as a taster for the Cwtch Coffee supper club.
There was fantastic weather on the Saturday for the beach art day at Freshwater East and a great range of sand drawings and beach sculpture created including a driftwood guitar and harp music from Shani Liz Wyman.
There are 14 venues with exhibitions and open studios on the Art Out West trail with an exciting range of work on display. Exhibitions run until the June 7. Pick up a leaflet from one of the participating cafes, including Cwtch Coffee in Pembroke Dock, Stackpole Walled Gardens and Castlemartin Community Cafe and look out for the signs printed by Esteam, a print workshop providing work experience for adults with learning disabilities to direct you to the venues.
