RISING pupil numbers at Stratton primary School have led to the go-ahead for four new classrooms to be constructed at a cost of £2.3-million.
Cornwall Council has approved the plans in order to meet the increasing demands in the area.
Proposing the recommendation to approve the plans at this week's meeting of the council's Cabinet, Neil Burden, the council's portfolio holder for children's services, said there had been no objections during the formal consultation process.
