Colleagues at the Co-operative food store in Camelford have presented learning trust The Moor and Coastal Partnership with a grant of £2,000. The trust was set up in 2010 at Sir James Smith's School and works on projects to develop children's learning, staff training and transitional work from primary to secondary school, supporting the schools for which it acts. the grant came from the Co-operative Membership?Community Fund. Nick Park, manager of the Camelford Co-op store, said: "Our staff and members play an active role in the areas in which we trade, embracing and supporting its community spirit, and our community fund is one way in which members can make a real difference in their local area."
