A STEERING group to set out the way forward for Camelford Sports Centre has been formed.
The group is headed by Rev Jim Benton-Evans and has various interest groups such as Camelford Town Council, the Town Forum, Cornwall Council and local schools taking on the task.
A feasibility study is being commissioned with a view to ascertain the viability of the centre and to sort out the best business plan and funding for the future.
The steering group has appealed to readers of the 'Post' to contact Rev Benton-Evans at the Camelford Rectory; Brian Groves the town clerk at the Council Office, or Chris Sims, the Community Network Manager via the Camelford One Stop Shop if they have any ideas relating to the sports centre.
A spokesman for the group added: "Using the sports centre is the best kind of support."
