STAGS, one of the leading West Country rural estate agents and property consultants, have promoted Cornish farm agent Andrew Ranson, from their Launceston branch.
Mr Ranson is part of a dedicated specialist farm agency team of rural agents and valuers, who provide a service valuing and marketing farms and land.
He has worked as a land agent, auctioneer and rural property consultant for over 20 years — spending the last five in Cornwall.
Mr Ranson is a highly successful auctioneer and has principally worked out of Stags Launceston and Truro offices, but has also worked from Plymouth and Wadebridge, advising owners and occupiers on all aspects of rural property related issues across Cornwall and along the Devon borders.
Over recent years Andrew has very successfully focused his attentions on selling the farms and land that Stags deal with throughout this area.
Brought up on a beef and dairy farm in Surrey, Mr Ranson is married to a Cornish architect and has two young boys,
In addition to a lively family life, and living close to the sea, he enjoys participating in a variety of water sports, including kite and wind surfing, sailing and diving in the summer and skiing or armchair rugby in the winter.
