This year's newly elected carnival queen for St Teath, Niamh Halford, was crowned on Sunday (July 18) afternoon at Pencarey Trevilley Lane. Niamah was crowned by Mr Lee Bacchus (Headmaster) of St Teath Primary School. This was the start of many events planned for the week, on Wednesday a village quiz was held at the church hall, today (Thursday) — skittles, pasty and cider evening at the community centre and on Friday, junior skittles championship for the Fun Club at the community centre.
