MARY Phillips, of St Teath, completed her fourth 9mph tractor ride, this time from John O' Groats to Land's End, in aid of Cornwall and Devon Air Ambulances, writes Natalie Venning.

She started the drive at the end of July, finishing 17 days later in August. She had thought it would take her a month, but she drove an average of 60 or 70 miles a day to complete it in almost half the time.

Mary is the first person to take a tractor on the popular 1,000 mile journey. She relied on her orange Field Marshall to get her to her destination.
