MEGAN Evans, age 14, of St Teath is busy fundraising for her trip to Uganda in March of next year to promote 'Stand Up! For Sanitation.'

The campaign was set up after the realisation that many pupils in Uganda, especially older girls, are failing to complete their primary education because of lack of suitable toilets and washing facilities.

Megan is travelling with her mother, Amanda, who works at St Teath Primary School, which already has a thriving link with Okwira Primary School in Eastern Uganda through the Food for Thought Programme.
