GUNNISLAKE held St Piran celebrations on Saturday, March 3, with proceeds going to the village.
The event was organised by Carrie-Ann Bailey, who moved to the village in 2010 with her husband Stuart and their two children, Arthur, six, and Alyssa, five, have been brought up in the village.
Carrie-Ann said she had never heard of St Piran until her son Arthur was around a year old and made a Cornish flag at the mother-and-toddler group in Gunnislake Pre-School.
There was plenty of entertainment, including music, food and drink, and a storyteller.
Lots of residents supported the event, and St Piran’s Day was celebrated in style.
