FOLKS of all ages attended 'The Great St Breward Morning Chat, Come Along for a Coffee and a Chat' event on Saturday (October 20) held in the village hall, all morning and well into the afternoon.

Ken Bryan, committee member for the village hall, said: "Chat they did, to the point that was heart-warming. Not just in the refreshment area of the kitchen but also at extra tables in the main hall, chatting to stall helpers, and standing around in groups for a good natter.

"It seemed that every familiar face was present, but also newer ones; some already involved in helping and visitors. The light lunch and drinks available no doubt helped the atmosphere of togetherness."
