A FOOD and music festival, part of the annual Charles Causley Festival, was held in Launceston Town Square on Saturday.
The square was filled with a good range of hot and cold food stalls and had an open air bar providing local ales and ciders.
There was a musical performance from a very talented local youngsters theatre group who delighted the audience.
Live music from local musicians also entertained the visitors during the day and even got a few of them up dancing.
Anita White, one of the organisers, said: “It was really great to see the local community come together and have a relaxing day in the sunshine enjoying local delicious food and ales while listening to some fantastic music provided by local musicians. I’d like to thank all of the stallholders who attended, Oskigen Theatre, LVFS who provided the first aid cover, the musicians and all of the people who helped behind the scenes. A lot of hard work goes into planning these events but it’s all worth it when you see so many people enjoying themselves and I’d like to thank everyone who came along. A big thank you goes to The Launceston Rotary Club who helped sponsor this event, it was much appreciated.“
