WITH lighter days ahead, The Cornish Pilgrimage are looking forward to many walks and sponsored challenges, including The Cornish Pilgrimage which will take place in five Post area locations.
Having successfully negotiated their first encounter ’The St Pirans Walk’ derived from local footpaths around Carharrack, St Day and Mount Ambrose,
Spring now turn their sights to the greater challenge of Walking the Cornish Pilgrimage for Cornwall Hospice Care.
The fortnight-long event commences after Easter when on St George’s Day, the competitors make their way to Morwenstow Church on Wednesday, April 24, to begin the 200-mile route which will also takes in Langdon Cross (Yeolmbridge), Five Lanes/Altarnun and Camelford before they head down to Padstow and work their way down throughout the rest of the county before ending at St Michael’s Mount, which will include the local section known as the Gwennap Pilgrimage; this will be walked on the May Bank Holiday,

Those signing up to do any part of the challenge or The Gwennap Polgrimage will in effect be supporting the charity as their registration fee of £10 goes to Cornwall Hospice Care.
