THE annual spring jumble sale on behalf of Launceston and District Cats Protection was held recently at Lifton.
It was a beautiful day — unlike the two jumble sales last year — and there was a long queue waiting for opening at 2pm.
As usual the hall was full of lots of good quality clothing plus bric-a-brac and many other items on offer and this event was very well supported indeed.
As well as a large raffle, light refreshments were served all afternoon. The branch is delighted to have raised the grand sum of £416.50.
