SPRING is in the air at Holsworthy’s Youth Club, which will soon play hosts at a fete to mark the one-year anniversary of the re-opening of the group.
Holsworthy Youth Club, run by Holsworthy and Rural CATS (Community Action Through Sport) in association with the Holsworthy Community Property Trust, will be holding its Spring Fete on Sunday, April 24, from 11am to 4pm.
The youth club hopes to make it a fun day for all the family and wants to show the public what it is the group is all about.
Holsworthy and Rural CATS have planned a lot of fun activities, including an exhibition of the art created by some of the members of the club, a display of vintage rally equipment, a craft sale and a raffle/tombola.
There will be refreshments available on the day, with cake on sale along with a barbecue.
The fire brigade is planning to attend with a vehicle and the Holsworthy Police/PCSO’s will also be there to demonstrate finger printing and property marking.
Everyone is welcome to come and join in and Holsworthy’s Youth Club looks forward to providing a fun day for all those who attend.
Holsworthy and Rural CATS do good work providing young people with a friendly environment so that they can socialise and have fun.
They are always keen to recruit more volunteers, so to support the work done at Holsworthy Youth Club and to benefit young people in the Holsworthy area get in touch with Karen Hemmings on 01288 488086 or via [email protected] to find out more.
