Thankfully, Templeton School was very lucky with the weather for their sports day this year. Everyone performed brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the various races. The children should be commended on their excellent behaviour and the great generosity and kindness they showed whilst supporting and caring for each other.
Congratulations to the Blue House, Templar, who won the House Shield for sports day. Team captains, Rachael Simpkins and Ella Tanner, were delighted with their team's performance and were very proud to be presented with the trophy.
Special congratulations to the winners of the Victor Ludorum (Charlie Reynolds - Foundation Phase and Harry Fuller - juniors) and the Victrix Ludorum (Isabel Cole - Foundation Phase and Meghan Williams - juniors). These children competed very well, winning the most points for their houses throughout the various competitions.
The school was very grateful to the community of St. John's Church who kindly donated the Foundation Phase Victor and Victrix Ludorum awards. Finally, well done to Ella Tanner, the winner of the Berian Vaughan Cup, in recognition of outstanding sporting achievement.
It was wonderful to see such a large group of parents, grandparents and friends supporting the children. The children really enjoyed performing for them. Thank you for coming and it was fantastic fun to see many enter the mums and dads races!
A huge thank you to the team of parents from FoTS (Friends of Templeton School) who worked really hard in providing teas, coffees, bacon rolls, burgers and other refreshments.
