FLOWERPATCH Quilters had a very special visitor at their AGM in the Central Methodist Hall, Launceston in October — a golden retriever called Connie and her owner Trudy Sherwood.

Trudy was a representative from Guide Dogs for the Blind and was delighted to collect a cheque for £2,600 raised by Flowerpatch Quilters at their 35th Patchwork and Quilting Exhibition this August.

The ‘Over The Rainbow’ Quilt raffled there by the group this year was won by Flowerpatch member Ellen Seward.
