MAYOR of Launceston, Cllr Paul O'Brien was presented with a book, charting the town hall renovation, from Alan Purton at the town council meeting on April 19. Alan had put together a book of all of the pictures he captured of the work from the beginning until the end of the town hall renovation. Cllr O'Brien, who was presented with the book on behalf of the town council, commented: "It is an absolute delight as it charts the progress all the way through, from the 'bomb site' to the present. It is very much appreciated and will be treasured."
