THE PIG at Harlyn Bay has agreed to host another special charity event for the National Garden Scheme on Monday, September 15 and Tuesday, September 16.

The kitchen garden of THE PIG is the beating heart of the hotel and the garden team there are eager to share their enthusiasm for growing fruit, vegetables and herbs with visitors.

This is a good opportunity for visitors to learn from the experts and ask plenty of questions. The hotel grounds have been successfully planted to cope with the challenging coastal conditions and there will be an opportunity to meet the resident animals and birds.

On arrival at 11am, the small group of 28 guests will be greeted with tea and coffee followed by an exclusive, in-depth talk and guided tour of the kitchen garden and grounds by the group head kitchen gardener and his team.

Guests will then be treated to a private, Mocktail Masterclass, hosted by THE PIG group bar manager, followed by a BBQ lunch with accompanying home-grown salads in the covered, outdoor courtyard.

The events take place between 11am to 1.30pm and pre-booking essential.
