COMMUNITY spirit was in abundance at Stratton Community Hall on Thursday, August 16 where SPARC (Stratton Play Area Regeneration Committee) held its first fundraising event.

The hall was packed out and supporters took part in ten games of bingo, with a host of fantastic prizes up for grabs. The committee was on hand with refreshments, which alongside a large raffle and cake stall, managed to raise an impressive £524 for the new play park equipment. The committee was also presented with a donation of £100 from the Heartcall Bingo Fund.
