TEAMWORK has paid off in Tintagel after volunteers raised more than £1,000 for the flood victims of the Somerset Levels.
People from the village and surrounding areas, gathered at the Methodist Church Schoolrooms last Thursday for a soup and sweet fundraiser, followed by creamteas in the afternoon.
Thanks have been extended to everyone who supported the event, which raised more than £1,000 for people affected by severe flooding in Somerset.
