THE popular Tregadillett soup and sweet in aid of Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) was held in the community hall recently.

The reputation of this event has continued to spread far and wide, with some coming from as far away as Bude.

Local organiser Ann Pethick had encouraged local businesses and groups to donate prizes, and then, with her band of willing helpers, busied herself with preparation of the home-made soups and desserts.
