TEN Ukrainian children visited the Bude area as guests of volunteer host families this summer, invited through the charity Chernobyl Children's Life Line.
Many local companies and organisations supported the work of the charity and the visitors had a wonderful holiday.
Having come from an area of high radioactive concentration, the purpose of the visit was to allow the children to lose the contamination from their bodies by breathing fresh air and eating clean food.
