A BUDE florist has been chosen to design part of Interflora's exhibit at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show — one of only five florists selected from around the country. Sophie Watton, 24, started working as a florist at Bleujen in Bude in 2009. Inspired by the more unusual flowers and designs, she also has a love for country chic creations. Since working at Bleujen, Sophie has studied at Duchy College and gained her Level 2 in Floristry. She has also completed her NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship through the shop. Sophie keeps herself very busy by competing in various floristry competitions across the country. She won a bronze medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2013 and has won the regional heats for Interflora's Florist of the Future competition. Sophie also represented the UK at an international competition — Eurofleurs in Split, Croatia — and gained sixth place.
