LAUNCESTON Swimming Club enjoyed a successful time at the Cornwall County Championships recently. Ten members competed in races against other Cornish swimmers, which included; freestyle (FS) backstroke (BC), breaststroke (BR), butterfly (fly) and individual medley (IM).

The events were held over two weekends at Penzance Leisure Centre and Bodmin Leisure Centre.

Some fantastic swims were achieved by all the team and some great personal best times. Everyone did the club proud with their achievements throughout the competition.

Thanks goes to our two club coaches John Rhodes and Lorna White, also thanks to team manager Wendy Rivers and the other parent helpers on the day.
