LAUNCESTON Under-9s started their festival campaign with a superb opening match against Truro, Launceston scored the first try and kept pushing Truro back, and went two tries to nil up, but Truro clawed their way back and equalised before half time.

In the second half Lanson added another two tries and Truro found the gaps to gain another . Final score: Launceston 20pts, Truro 15.
