SNOW White and seven vertically challenged people will hit the stage this month in Boscastle, writes Helen Pusey.

The Boscastle pantomine crew have been rehearsing in preparation for when they open their doors to all next Wednesday, January 15.

The Rev Michael Parsons, who plays a convincing Wicked Queen, said: "Perhaps the wicked Queen will get her evil way and will be the most beautiful in the land."

But Snow White played by Jo Kent said: "It can be arranged that the Wicked Queen is pummelled with vegetables. But I inherit half the world and Disney land."
