CHILDREN and families of St Piran's Playschool, Delabole, have been having fun as a way of raising money for the playschool.

Despite a gloomy Sunday (July 8), spirits were lifted with a fun afternoon.

Chairman of the playschool committee, Sarah Hewett said: "We have had a wonderful time, the children had great fun playing games with their friends and having their faces painted. We feel very lucky to have such support in the community and that all the local businesses came to support us."
