IT MAY not have been the biggest, but for sheer enthusiasm, colour and noise the St Teath Carnival parade on Saturday has been regarded as a huge success.

The parade was the climax to a week of fun events ranging from bingo to a gnome hunt, as well as music and the village quiz.

Apart from the Cornish rain, which came at the wrong time for the organised It’s a Knockout event, everything went to plan thanks to the hard work of Tracy and Kerri Kittow, Roger Lyle, Tricia Richardson, Neville Turner and Justine Smale.

Backed by a small army of helpers, St Teath Carnival provided everyone with something to enjoy and everyone had a lovely time.
