THE Year 11 students at Sir James Smith’s School in Camelford celebrated the end of their exams and the last five years at the school in style last Wednesday.

Students dressed up in their finest attire to receive awards and their record of achievement from the staff and governor at the school in an event with the feel of an awards ceremony.

All students were clapped onto the stage to receive their record of achievement by their peers, parents and the teachers from the school. A number of individuals received special subject awards in recognition of their achievements in their time at the school.

The awards were completed with a video presentation of the highlights from events at the school. Students were horrified and amused in equal measure to see themselves and how they have changed from primary school children into the young adults everybody at Sir James Smith’s is incredibly proud of.
