A recent coffee morning held in Tenby, in support of the Stroke Association's 'Action on Stroke' month, has raised over £3,400! Over £1,400 of this was raised as a result of a prize draw which benefited from prizes donated by local businesses, friends and supporters. The local branch of Santander bank also supported the event via their matched giving scheme.
The event, held at the home of Kim and Karen O'Doherty, was very well supported and the generosity of friends and family, both in donating cakes for the cake stall and providing help on the day, ensured the occasion was a great success!
As it was 'Action on Stroke' month, it was also a great opportunity to inform the local community about what the Stroke Association does to support people in the local area and raise awareness of the issues around stroke.

Karen, Kim and the Stroke Association would like to thank everybody who contributed, in whatever way, and helped to make this occasion such a success.
