STUDENTS from Jason Thomas Performing Arts Studios, Bude, had the chance this year to perform at the Royal Cornwall Show for Prince Charles and Camilla in the Prince’s Countryside Parade.

The students performed a variation of the Floral Dance with students from the Truro branch of the school.

This event was produced by the esteemed Dougie Squires, who has produced many shows for the royal family and worked with Jason Thomas at the London Palladium in the West End and as a Brand New Generation Dancer.

The students also performed twice during the day in the dance tent, showcasing a range of styles from street and jazz to lyrical.

A spokesperson for the studios said: “The day was a massive success and the dancers made us very proud, Dougie Squires commented on how the dancers’ appearance really made the show and that their discipline and talent were well noted. Well done everyone!”
