THE words of chairman John Britton perhaps best sum up the 117th Holsworthy and Stratton Agricultural Show. "Simply incredible — I don't know of any other way I could put it."

The show's organisers promised a great day in the build up to the Killatree Cross event, and they didn't disappoint.

There was a heady buzz about the place from the off, with the clear blue skies providing the perfect juxtaposition to the animated showfield.

It didn't take long for the grounds to begin to fill with people, and if any concerns lingered regarding the previous night's showers, the warming sun put paid to them early on.
