SO much for ‘The Apprentice’, it is the pupils from the state primary school, Shebbear Community School, that are the ones to watch out for.
Once again pupils from Shebbear Community School have been able to support local charities with their making, marketing and selling skills.
Following on from their success last year, the group of Year 5 and 6 pupils once again organised, stocked and ran a charity stall. On the stall they sold cakes, craft items and donated gifts and overall were able to raise more than £75 for the Seamoor Unit at North Devon District Hospital (NDDH).
Headteacher of Shebbear Community School, Karen Hutton, said: “This is all their own work, supported by the friends and families of our school.
“We could not be more proud of them for working so hard to support those in need in our community.”
