OVER the weekend from March 23 to 25 Sport Relief aims to get one million people all over the country running one mile in aid of charity.
This year the Ruby Country Half Marathon is teaming up with Shebbear College to organise a one mile fun run to raise money which will be used by Comic Relief to help change lives across the UK and the world.
John Allen, organiser of the Ruby Country Half Marathon and Chairman of the Ruby Country Partnership, invites runners to join in, have some fun, in fancy dress if you like, and help reach that goal.
The race takes place on Sunday, March 25 when runners will set off at 11am on a rural route starting from the college. For the more ambitious there is also the option of running three or six miles, setting off at 11.30am.
