THE Woburn Residents’ Association held its annual ‘Carols on the Green’ event on December 17.

About 70 people tucked into the mince pies and cream, provided by Shelley Vanstone at Tesco. Countryside Furnishers came up trumps by giving some carpet off-cuts to lay on the wet grass.

The carol singing was led by Andrew Dunning and members of the Tregadillett Songbirds and was made more enthusiastic by the flow of mulled wine.

This was another opportunity for residents to meet up in convivial circumstances and enjoy the spirit of Christmas.

Committee members extended thanks to everyone who attended to once again make the evening a great success.

A spokesperson for the Woburn Residents’ Association said: “The committee would like to wish all members of the residents’ association a happy Christmas and healthy and happy new year.”
